I believe there is nothing more rewarding than assisting an individual, couple or family reach their self-determined goals – to begin to heal and move forward. A strengths-based and solution-focused therapist, I work with adult individuals, teenagers, couples and families toward authentic living with a focus on resiliency, growth and intention. As a certified sexual addiction therapist (CSAT), I have the privilege of working with men and women struggling with sexual compulsivity and addiction – and am equally honored to work with their spouses, individually and through couples intensives, to facilitate healing for all. Additionally, I have extensive trauma experience, including work with military, police and first responders.
Helping others heal from trauma is a passion for me. I believe in the interplay between thought, feeling and behavior known as cognitive behavioral therapy. I use techniques and therapies that best assist clients in the manner that is meaningful to them and am skilled at integrating family systems resources, brief cognitive therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, cognitive processing therapy and prolonged exposure. I believe in the power of hope and self-determination – and that every person has the potential to live their best life.
