As a therapist, I am privileged to be in a profession where I help others help themselves. Believing that people – smart, capable and possessing incredible strength – are the true experts of their own experiences, I approach therapy from a person-centered modality. I integrate aspects of solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to help each client reach their therapeutic goal and discover their best life. I use these approaches in my work with adolescents, adults, couples and families while focusing on the client’s strengths to enact lasting change.
I work in a supportive role with clients who are struggling with a variety of personal and interpersonal difficulties such as: sex addiction; anxiety; depression; academic concerns; self-esteem issues; life transitions; divorce; relationship difficulties and infidelity. As an associate sex addiction therapist (ASAT), I treat the addict as well as his/her partner, offering individual, couples and group therapies dealing with the impact of sex addiction and infidelity
